You can set up a passcode in the MEGA mobile apps to add an additional security measure to protect your data.

What if I forget my passcode?

If you forget your passcode, tap Log out on the passcode screen. Then, sign back into your MEGA account. Your passcode will be deactivated automatically, and you can set it up again if you wish.

On an Android device, it’s also possible to tap “Forgot your passcode?” and enter your MEGA password to disable or change the passcode.
